hello! I'm nicole
I hold a Bachelors of Science with Honors from ArtCenter College of Design, majoring in Product Design.
Following my graduation from Smith College, I worked for some time in the architectural and community organizing fields, combined my experiences into studying product design at ArtCenter College of Design and in 2015, completing a training program in MBA electives at INSEAD Singapore that combined design with business and entrepreneurship.
While interning at BMW Designworks, I supported a 4 person research and strategy team during a multinational field research campaign and worked in projects ranging from agricultural, aviation, marine, automotive, public transit, architectural, entertainment and home security. As Co-Op intern at Motorola Solutions, I led a research initiative to uncover insights to create experimental wearable communication for public safety officers, creating a final prototype that is being developed further internally at Motorola Solutions.
My strength is in combining my experiences in the nonprofit world in thinking in the sociopolitical sphere with design research and execution. My goal is to be in a position that shapes the blue sky of the start of the project: expanding the possibilities via qualitative and trend research. I strive to bring the best in energy, good cheer, and investigative chops to every project!
While at ArtCenter, I was president of the Women in Industrial Design student group at ArtCenter College of Design. Please visit us on Facebook!
